Its been identified to us from consuming organisations the need to be able to see the granular details of usage stats. This is for a multitude of reasons to better understand utilisation. For example to understand which teams are using the product more, to help drive wider roll out. Allowing us to identify champion users who can also provide value to benefits reporting. An organisation needs to be able to see if they have 100 users accessing the portal once a day or a handful of users accessing multiple times a day.
This was identified some time ago and I thought that there was already a vote on this site which had quite a few comments around the type of Usage stats that we thought would be useful to an organisation, not only from the side of what users in our organisation were accessing the portal and what they were viewing but also what other organisations were viewing our data, but I can no longer find it.
We certainly need a more granular view of usage stats as an overall number of users doesn't tell me anything, I could have one very productive user, which isn't quite the idea, I need to understand which specific user / teams are using the site so I can then concentrate on why and then getting other teams to utilise the resource as well.
