Proof of concept in Mid Yorks to establish connectivity with Civica Cito

The majority of the Mid Yorks electronic patient record is held in Civica Cito which is therefore pivital to data provision. Cito offer an XDS compliant module at additional cost which could be used for connectivity. An alternativce will be to use a standard API at no cost for which a specification is published and appears to be sufficient for accessing data for provision purposes. The POC would establish the viability of the API and therefore teh need to invest in XDS compatibility
